Major Haul from Kinokuniya & Borders

Posted on May 4th, 2008 at 12:13am +0800 GMT

Sorry for long time no updates. Need to keep the momentum running to make constant posts. ^^

Anyway, went over to Kinokuniya & Borders today with my gf, as both are having their respective Aniversary sales.
For Kinokuniya, I had a 3-stamped voucher to use up, so had to spend more than RM300 to get te 20% discount.
For Borders, they are having a 15% discount, and for every RM100 spent, a RM10 voucher is given (but have to be used by the 18th of May)

So here you are, my part of the haul (total damage today, including my gf’s, was more than RM500).

New Haul!

*dumped all the books, including the Kinokuniya ones into 1 plastic bag, coz my gf took the Kino bag*

Server Sharing Partners Wanted!

Posted on March 27th, 2008 at 11:55am +0800 GMT

Due to increase load on the shared hosting server that, The Figure Mall & Journey Through Otakuism is on, downtime is getting more and more frequent. This is very frustrating recently, thus I have decided to switch over to a Semi-Dedicated plan. Unfortunately, a Semi-D plan is payed monthly, and The Figure Mall alone cannot shoulder the full cost of the fees.

Singapore Trip Report - The Haul

Posted on March 18th, 2008 at 11:50pm +0800 GMT

I’ve been wanting to make this part of the report the last, but since I wanted to tempt someone with the stuff that I helped her buy, so might as well make write this part first. ^^
Stuff are acquired from various shops around Singapore, namely Kareshi Kanojo no Mise (for short, KKnM), La Tendo, Ani-Play.com, Kinokuniya Singapore. I have wanted to visit Chinatown, but got extremely tired of dragging my laptop and cameras around. Maybe next time. XD

The Haul!

Onward…..To Singapore!~

Posted on March 14th, 2008 at 7:04pm +0800 GMT

Tonight at 9pm, I’ll be starting my journey by train down to Singapore. This is the first time I’m going down by train, will be hopping my girlfriend’s company trip down (Just in case you’re wondering, I’m still paying, just less a little ^^;; ). They will be visiting the Singapore Museum for a Roman Museum exhibit, while I…..AM GOING FULL TIME OTAKU SHOPPING!~

Yes, you didn’t hear anything wrong. I will be spending the whole 2 days visiting many of the anime/manga/figure/hobby shops there. Will try to snap some pictures of my journey while I’m at it. XD Places of interest will of course be La Tendo, KKnM, Ani-Play, Kino Kuniya (will try only 2, give up going to Liang Court one…too far), maybe try Chinatown if time allows. Oh, will try visiting Cosafe too. ^^

Kotobukiya’s Moe-tan Nijihara Ink!~

Posted on February 1st, 2008 at 4:38pm +0800 GMT

Its very unfortunate that Nijihara Ink can’t arrive in time for MAGe…..

But anyhow, she’s here in my room now! ^^ This figure, like the previous Pastel Ink, are special repainted versions using the TV anime’s color scheme. Without further ado, here’s Nijihara Ink!~ XD

MAGe Festa '08

I think this post is not really needed since most bloggers & my pals already posted this. ^^;; But anyway, just in case, the MAGe Club of Nilai International University College will be organizing their first ACG event, The MAGe Festa ‘08! Entrance fees will be RM5, which is not a lot, since you’ll be most probably staying there the whole day. XD

Kotobukiya’s Moe-tan Pastel Ink!~

Posted on January 22nd, 2008 at 11:22pm +0800 GMT

When Kotobukiya first opened their Moe-tan figures for pre-order last year, I just took a glance at the thumbnail, and didn’t bother going through all the pictures. Both figures were released in December 2007. It was last week that I was browsing through, and viewed the images that I got a Moe-Shock! XD They were just too damn cute to resist. Thus, after searching around, unable to find a source that can ship her fast enough to arrive before MAGe Festa 08, valho lead me to Play-Asia.com.

Pastel Ink was sold out after that. I took the last unit. XD

My Camera!

Posted on January 17th, 2008 at 8:50pm +0800 GMT

Haven’t found time to post anything these past few days, sorry for those waiting for the Megami & Comp H’s magazine previews. But I found pictures of my new camera, taken when I just bought it, so I was thinking, why not just talk about it. ^^ Actually bought it back in November 2007…
